Is iTunes reading our mind?!? We just expressed our love for PHOX yesterday and now they are too, by offering their second single, "Kingfisher" as the iTunes Single of the Week! We LOVE a good band! Don’t get us wrong, we ARE Hip-Hop heads through and through, but at Phashion Phish we like all kinds of music and there’s just something about a REALLY awesome band! PHOX is one of those bands. PHOX is from Baraboo, Wisconsin; we also love the fact they’re from Baraboo. It just sounds cool! Their debut, self-titled album, PHOX was released in June and it's given us a new favorite song of the summer, “Slow Motion”. The song is very breezy and would be the perfect song for a drive, a stop by a lake for some canoodling (we won’t judge), or just to chill out in a patio chair and enjoy this awesome summer we’re having. Oh yeah, and we’re also enamored with singer, Monica Martin. She exudes a coolness we haven’t seen from a singer, in a while.
We’re also giving them 25 additional cool points for knowing where to stop on their tour; they’ll be in Detroit, MI on August 1st at Magic Stick! And they're offering their album on vinyl!
