Beyonce loves to surprise the BeyHive and somehow we are NEVER READY for the slayage!!! Yet, here we are during Black History Month no less, on Saturday, February 6, 2016 with a new Beyonce single AND video.

The new song, “Formation” is serving all the blackness we’ve been needing, with lines like “ I love my baby’s hair with baby hair and afros”, “I like my negro nose, with Jackson 5 nostrils”, and the battle cry of all the fly ladies, “I got hot sauce in my bag, swag”.

Beyonce always exceeds our expectations and this time is no different! This is a song and video of pride and at this particular moment; we NEEDED it and we’re HERE FOR ALL OF IT! With its imagery that touches on Katrina, New Orleans, police violence, and the colorful and amazing parts of our culture, it is EVERYTHANG!
