As a lead up to Lollapalooza 2015, we’re going to be posting about some of our favorite acts that you may not be too familiar with! Because one of the best parts of Lolla is being exposed to all the cool music that you may not listen to on the regular!

So without further ado; up first is Lion Babe!

We’ve written about Lion Babe before and the duo of Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman, has been blessing us with great music ever since. Their sound and aesthetic is giving us all kinds of Erykah Badu, Janelle Monae, Janis Joplin, and at times a bit of Earth, Wind, and Fire!

Their latest single, “Wonder Woman” is sure to be the soundtrack for many women AND men this summer. It’s a powerful song that begs to bang from car speakers and seep through headphones on the train.
